Tamala M. Holland, 54, of Summit, NJ passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ. Tamala was born in Red Bank, NJ on August 24, 1968 to Richard J. and Mary Lou H. Holland. She was raised in Lincroft and Tinton Falls, NJ before moving to Asbury Park, NJ, where she completed her education and thereafter relocated to Livingston, NJ before settling in Summit, NJ.
Tamala excelled in Information Technology Support and was sought after for her training expertise and product knowledge in management and senior leadership positions by various corporations, including GAF, Johnson & Johnson, Senior Director at NASDAQ and Chewy.
Tamala joined Asbury Park Deliverance Evangelistic Center Inc., Asbury Park, NJ and loved supporting the local ministry where she contributed generously behind the scenes. Tamala was funny and loved Atlantic City, shopping, concerts, traveling and cooking, and she often hosted family events to bring her immediate family members together. She loved her cats, Alex and Max.
Tamala was predeceased by her father and mother, and sister, Deidre Yvette Holland of Asbury Park, NJ. She is survived by her son, Duane Holland, of Norristown, Pennsylvania; daughter, Danielle Ingram of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Deshawn); granddaughter, Courtney Fallon Nerestant of Summit, NJ; grandson, DJ, of Norristown, Pennsylvania; three brothers, Anthony Holland of Wanamassa, NJ (Stephanie), Trever Holland of Manhattan, NY, and Michael Holland of Lawrenceville, NJ (Shonda); sister, Marcia Boynton of Brick, NJ (Andrew); nieces, Cherrelle, Erica, Brittany, Destiny; nephews, Kevin, Michael, Jr., Brandon, Myles; great nieces, Genesis and Temani; great nephew, Syncere; and many other cherished family members and beloved friends.
Light refreshments will be served following the Memorial Service at Asbury Park Deliverance Evangelistic Center, 905 Sewall Ave, Asbury Park, NJ, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
