He was always willing to take on any odd job and was known for tireless work ethic. Stacey attended the school systems of Neptune and Asbury Park until 1986.
As a young man, Stacey developed a deep love for karate, often practicing moves that left a lasting impression on his friends and family. Known for wearing his black karate shoes, running up trees, or leaping from the roof of his childhood home on Bond Street in Asbury Park into perfect Ninja stance, Stacey’s enthusiasm for martial arts became a defining part of his life, as he enjoyed watching old karate movies until the very end.
Family was the cornerstone of Stacey’s life. He was a Beloved uncle to his nieces Delmeisha Fowler and Christina and nephew-in-law John Wilmott. He was also a doting great uncle to Javon Wilmott, Jaden Wilmott, Jiyaha Wilmott, and Jumyra Wilmott.
