Ramona Cecilia Gonzalez

Ramona Cecilia Gonzalez was born in Lynchburg, Virginia, July 30,1960 to Ramon Gonzalez and the late Evelyn Elliott Gonzalez. God smiled on His daughter, Ramona, and set her soul free on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

Ramona graduated from Neptune High School, Neptune, NJ in 1978 and spent most of her working years in the healthcare field. She had a love for shopping, traveling and mostly spending quality time with family and friends.

Ramona was a kind, loving, do for anyone, fun loving person. She loved and cherished her family. She devoted her time in helping her family, friends, and others wherever, whenever, and however she could. Ramona adored all her nieces and nephews but was able to spend a lot of time with her three youngest nephews, Keith, Kerry and Keishawn Kirkwood, who were her passion. She enjoyed helping raise them and relished watching them grow from infancy to adulthood.

Ramona was preceded in death by her beloved son, Kion Gonzalez, sisters, Dawn Clark and Sabrina Clark, and niece, Geovonna L. Harris. She is survived by her parents, Ramon and Dolores Gonzalez of Neptune, NJ, sisters, Evelyn Crews of Durham, NC, Collette (Cleophas) Williams, Denise Gonzalez of Lawton, OK, Maria Gonzalez of Bordentown, NJ, and Lynn Gonzalez of Angier, NC, nieces, Regina, Debbie, Monireh, Amberelle and Aynnia, nephews, Robbie, Elliott, Benjamin, Keith, Kerry, Keishawn, and Denym, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved and adored her.
