He was a loving man, father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. Othie loved martial arts. He studied different styles of martial arts throughout his life and was dedicated to the field as this was his calling.
Othie started teaching martial arts to others in the 1970's, he enjoyed teaching others the different styles of martial arts; he would flip across fences and practice his kicks outside just about every day. This was a sport that he loved; after a while we all started learning how to back flip outside.
Othie also had a real talent for drawing and sketching and he was a master at both skills. He also enjoyed helping others that could not help themselves. Othie was a master in all these areas, a true talented father, brother, grandfather, and a whole host of others; he was a joy to us all.
