Judy Ann Jones-Glover

Judy Jones Glover, 66, of Neptune, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2023. She was born on June 3, 1956 in Bolivar, Tennessee to Jessie James Jones and Dorthulia Jones.

She graduated from Gadsden High School, in Gadsden, TN, in 1974. After high school, she briefly attended Lane College, Jackson, TN, before relocating to NJ where she attended Stewart Business School and graduated with a certification as an Executive Secretary in 1977. She held various supportive positions before being employed at First Energy Corp., from 1995 until her untimely death as a Data Analyst.

Judy was the devoted mother of two daughters, KeShawna and Zanniah and the loving grandmother to Ava and Andre. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, walking on the boardwalk, and reading. Judy would regularly spend weeks back home in Tennessee. Most recently, she enjoyed a trip to the Dominican Republic with her children and grandchildren. She was also a long time member of the Cathedral International in Asbury Park, NJ for close to 30 years.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Jessie and Dorthulia Jones; brother, James Jones Jr.; sister, Brenda Jones; brother-in-law, Chester Ricks. She is survived by her loving daughters, Sheron KeShawna Jones-Ward (Robert) of Neptune, NJ, and Zanniah Jones-Glover (fiancee De’Ron) of Neptune, NJ; two grandchildren, Ava and Andre Ward of Neptune, NJ; five sisters, Jessie Jones Ricks of Asbury Park, NJ, Juanita Pledge of Humboldt, TN, Annie Pledge of Humboldt, TN, Linda Jones of Jackson, TN, and Louise Jones of Brooklyn, NY; three brothers, Robert Jones (Valerie) of Queens, NY, Preston (Thomasina) of Queens, NY, and Zannie Jones (Laura) of Jackson, TN; 26 nieces and nephews as well as 43 great nieces and nephews, all of which were her favorite. She is also survived by many special “sister friends” and cherished coworkers whom she held very close to her heart.
