James Esney Clark, Jr. passed away at home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in Neptune, New Jersey. He was born in Neptune, New Jersey on Tuesday, July 17, 1945 to Virginia Watson Clark and James Esney Clark, Sr.
James attended Belmar Grammar School and Manasquan High School where he excelled at basketball. After graduating high school, James entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. In 1969, James married Anita Daniels. He worked for 31 years for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 2000.
He was predeceased by his parents, James Sr and Virginia Clark, brother Gary Clark, and sisters Shirley Malone and Karen Clark. James is survived by his wife, Anita, son, James E. Clark, III (Marlean), daughter, Deanna Christina Owens (Tony), five grandchildren, Tony Owens, Jr., Christopher Owens, Christina Owens, Brian Clark and James Esney Clark IV, two sisters, Sharon Clark Owens, and Sheila Clark McCullough, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
