Doris Richardson Obituary

Doris Marie Richardson, 79, of Neptune, NJ passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.  Doris was born in Plateau, AL on July 17, 1942 to the late Cesar Ellis and Carrie Mae Means.

She spent her early years in Buffalo, NY. After the passing of her mother, Doris returned to Plateau, AL, where she attended Mobile County Training School.  She married Origra Richardson, Sr. and they had 5 children together, 4 boys and 1 girl.  Doris divorced her husband in 1982 and later had her last-born child, a girl.
