Crystal Daye Robinson Obituary

Crystal Daye Robinson was called home to be with God on October 8, 2021 after a valiant but short battle with cancer. For those of us fortunate to share our lives with her, she personified grace, strength, and dignity in every aspect of her life.

Crystal grew up in Lakewood, NJ where she attended Lakewood schools. She graduated from Lakewood High School where she was active as a varsity cheerleader, track and field, and many other school activities for her beloved Piners.

She was a devoted member of Sixth Street Baptist Church in Lakewood, NJ. After high school Crystal attended Delaware State College, then Rutgers University where she studied communications. Crystal met her beloved husband and best friend, Wayne, in 1990 and they were joined in marriage in 1992 and loved each other beyond words. Crystal spent the majority of her career in medical administration where she worked for the University of Medicine and Dentistry for the State of New Jersey. She worked as a Supervisor of Patients Accounts before moving to Wisconsin with her husband, Wayne, for a few years before they settled in Rhode Island. Crystal was employed with Spectrum Health Systems of Massachusetts until she passed away.

Crystal was never one for many words but let her actions speak for her. She prided herself for standing up for her family and everyone close to her.

Crystal was predeceased by her father, Robert Daye Sr., grandparents, Gladys and Clarence Johnson, Ruth Scott, and brother, Ronnie Williams.

She leaves to cherish her wonderful memory her beloved parents, Frankie Mae Scott and Ron Scott of Blythewood, SC, her beloved sister, Natalie Daye Wilson (Phil) of Hopkins, SC, loving brothers, Bobby Daye, Ronald Daye, and Donald Daye, sister, Antoinette Daye, her first born nephew, Sgt. Bryant Daye, Phil Wilson Jr. (son Maxwell), Khalil and Aiden, nieces, Jasmine, Jaida, (son Demarius) and Kaelyn, as well as a host of cousins to include her loving Scott family, Elaine, Delores, Karen, Christine, and Laura, as well as her loving aunt, Pearl of Washington DC, she also leaves to mourn her passing many who were like family to include the Ross family, aunt Joan and uncle Thomas, Tammy, Tommy, Julian, the Wilson family (Rosa and Mookie), as well as her cherished friends, Cynthia and Yvette, and many others.
