Chiquetta Stroman

Chiquetta “Tredda” Stroman, 42, of Neptune, New Jersey passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, New Jersey.  She was born on July 29, 1976 in Hollywood, Florida to Lena Williams and Edward Stroman.

Tredda was employed as a driver at Monmouth Partial Care, Neptune, New Jersey.  She was a lifelong resident of Asbury Park, New Jersey before moving to Neptune in 2011.

 Tredda loved hosting Sunday dinner and summer BBQ’s. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help those in need. Her door was always open to whomever needed assistance. There was nothing more she enjoyed than spending time with her grandsons.

She was predeceased by her mother, Lena Williams; father, Edward Stroman; and daughter, Ahjaya Dortch.  She is survived by two daughters, DyShera and DyAsia Stroman; two sons, Imere DJ Stroman and Ijhire Dortch, all of Neptune, NJ; stepdaughter, Shanae Dortch, of Asbury Park, NJ; stepbrother, Julius Ray, Florida; two grandsons, Ayden Martin and King Stroman of Neptune, NJ; six sisters, Renee Williams of Trenton, NJ, Kimberly Williams (Powerful) of Bayville, NJ, Terri Williams, Neptune, NJ, Tyiesha Bowens, Asbury Park, NJ; Shuntae Lee and Shevonda Stroman, Florida; two brothers, Warren Williams, Red Bank, NJ, and Edward John Stroman, Florida; grandmother, Mary Simmons, Asbury Park, NJ; stepmother, Barbara Stroman, Florida; special friends, Tumorea Nesbitt, Mina Wilson, Tamecca James, and Wayne Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
