Arthur Lee Washington, Jr.

Arthur Lee (Winky) Washington, Jr., 58, passed away on February 21, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. He was born on April 2, 1963 in Amelia County, VA, to Arthur Lee Washington, Sr. and Minvera Jones.

Winky graduated from Neptune High School in 1983 and worked as a sewer plant operator in the municipalities of Neptune and Long Branch, and a plant operator for the water authority in the township of Freehold. He also did office cleaning for PEB Floors for many years.

Winky was a long-time Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He enjoyed doing chores for his family and was lovingly known as the laundry expert.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sonya, son Marcus, daughter, Lanna, two sisters, Sheri Washington and Brenda Reeves, mother-in-law, Harriet Stanard-Council, and a host of family and friends.
