Annie Christine Gadson

Annie Christine Gadson, 80, of Toms River, NJ went to be with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday October 4, 2021, at Community Medical Center Toms River, NJ. She was born on November 22, 1940 in Lewisburg, N.C. to the late William and Susie B. Howard. Annie was one of their eight children.

Annie received her education through the North Carolina Public School System. She later relocated to New Jersey where she was employed as an assembly line worker with Fluid packaging in Lakewood, NJ.

In 1959, she met a young man named Charles Gadson. Charles knew from the moment he laid eyes on Annie that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. On June 24, 1963, the two decided to get married and their journey began, doing everything together. Annie was a woman of God who loved everyone and always went the extra mile to help anyone in need. She enjoyed reading her bible, doing password puzzles and spending time with her family.

Annie is predeceased by her parents, Susie and William Howard; brothers, Willie and Johnny Howard, sisters, Alice "Faye" Howard and Carol Howard; sons, Quentin Gadson and Christopher Howard; and daughter, Jennifer Gadson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Gadson; brothers, Theodore Howard, George Howard, and Samuel Howard all of New Jersey; children, Clifton Howard, Anthony Howard (daughter-in-law Denise Howard), Darryl Gadson (daughter-in-law Karen Gadson), daughter, Charlene Gadson (son-in-law William Winters), Andre Gadson, and Johnathan Gadson (daughter-in-law Christal Gadson) all of New Jersey; and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
