Anibar Rios Gonzalez

Anibar Rios Gonzalez, 72, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT.  He was born on March 24, 1950, in Lares, Puerto Rico to Leonides Rios and Maria Pilar Gonzalez.

Anibar was a contract painter for over 30 years.  He was a member of Restoration Family Worship Center, Howell, NJ, under Pastors Glenn & Maribel Wilson.  Anibar married Luisa Francis in 1987.  They were married for 35 years.

He was raised by his uncle, Lorenzo Rios, and grew up with cousins, Francis, Eugenia, Blanca, and David, who he considered as his siblings.

He was predeceased by his father, Leonides, his mother, Maria Pilar, his two sisters, Deliah, and Luziraida, and two brothers, Audeliz, and Junior.

He is survived by his lovely wife, Luisa, three sisters, Francis, Blanca, and Eugenia, one brother, David, his son, Isaiah and his wife, Shade’a of Jewett City, CT, stepson, Elijah Rodriguez, grandchildren, Isaac and Lelani, nieces, and nephews.
