Thelma Jean Lassiter, 66, of Asbury Park, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. She was born on September 24, 1951 in Prince Edward County, Virginia to William Edward Moss and Carey Alma Foster.

Thelma was a licensed beautician and worked as a seamstress for many years.  She was predeceased by her parents; and her stepfather, Phillip Holmes.

She is survived by two sisters, Darlene Holmes (Veronica) of Morganville, New Jersey, and Francine Robinson (Mermin) of Asbury Park, New Jersey; two uncles, John Foster, and Alfred Holmes (Omelia) of Asbury Park, New Jersey; two aunts, Betty Mae Brown, and Phyllis Allen of Farmville, Virginia; stepmother, Constance Holmes of Neptune, New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
