Terrance
Hunter
Dec 28, 1962 — Jan 4, 2016
Terrance Hunter was the youngest son of Mrs. Cora Hunter and the late William V. Hunter. Terrance began his sunrise on December 28, 1962 in New York City and entered eternal rest in Glory with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 4, 2016.
Terrance graduated from the Julia Richman High School and matriculated at the Boro of Manhattan Community College. His career included many years in marketing research as well as the retail market at both Bloomingdales and Macy's Department Stores.
Terrance was an avid sports fan especially for the New York Jets Football Team and the New York Mets Baseball Team. His extensive knowledge of these sports and related statistics would have impressed the most seasoned sportscaster.
Another passion of his was cooking. He enjoyed preparing the annual family holiday feasts. He was a fantastic cook, "oh boy" could he mess up a kitchen! Right about now Terrance would be planning the menu for his Super Bowl party, a gathering that his family and friends looked forward to each year.
Terrance was a very kind hearted individual. If wronged, he did not hold grudges, but would forgive quickly and move on. He was a quick witted, fun loving person. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle who loved his family and adored his nieces and nephews. He loved to see them happy. While we will surely miss him, we are comforted by the belief that his Soul is in Heaven, and that we will see him again. We believe this because many years ago he publicly acknowledged and gave his life to Jesus Christ. The ancestors and saints have joyously welcomed him Home.
He was predeceased by his father, William V. Hunter; and loving sister, Yasmine Hunter-Brown. Terrance is survived by his loving mother, Cora Hunter; best friend and brother, Daren; brother and caretaker, Vernon; and loving brothers Ronald and Reginald Hunter; sisters, Diane and Gwendolyn; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
