Shirley A. Moore, 83, of Asbury Park, NJ passed away on October 17, 2020. She was born on August 5, 1937 in Neptune, NJ to James and Estella Whittaker.

Shirley received her elementary and secondary school education from the Asbury Park School System. She graduated from Nursing School and obtained employment at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, formerly know as Fitkins Hospital, in Neptune, NJ. She also worked as a security guard for Asbury Park Housing Authority until she retired due to her health.

Shirley received Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Tabernacle Church of Asbury Park, NJ. She served on the Usher Board and was in the Sanctuary Choir until her health prevented her from participating.

She is predeceased by her parents, James and Estella Whittaker; husband, James H. Moore; son, James F. Moore; daughter, Cynthia D. Moore; two brothers, Henry and Benjamin Whittaker; and one sister, Nellie Graham.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, four daughters, Sharon and Clara Moore of Asbury Park, NJ, Deborah (Johnny) Westbrook of Neptune, NJ, and Lorraine Westbrook of Toms River, NJ; eight grandchildren; twenty- two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; two special friends, Min Cynthia Frazier and Sis Doris Bacote.
