Oneda Anderson, 94, of Lakewood, New Jersey, departed this life on November 25, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She was born on February 25, 1922 in Onley, Virginia to the late George and Manie Crippen.

Mamaneat, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, was a domestic employee for many years. She had a heart of gold and cared for everyone. She enjoyed cooking all types of food, but was famous for her yeast rolls. She will be truly missed by everyone.

Mamaneat was predeceased by her parents, George and Manie Crippen; beloved husband, Albert R. Anderson; 5 sisters, Helen Crippen, Bessie Mae (Curt) Pearson, Bernice (Felix) Finney, Minnie Crippen, and Lizzie Crippen; 5 brothers, Emerson (Mabel) Crippen, Alonzo (Anna) Crippen, Robert L. Crippen, William Crippen, and George (Mary) Crippen Jr.; 1 son, Sylvester Conquest Jr.; 1 stepdaughter, (Bunchie) Elsie Smith; 1 granddaughter, Fannie M. (Kenney) Johnson; 3 grandsons, James Brown, Samuel Conquest Marshall, and Trent Smith.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories 3 daughters, Annie Mae James of Pocomoke, MD, Emma Huff-Edwards and Alice (Samuel) Brown, all of Lakewood, NJ; 11 grandchildren, Edward (Robyn) Conquest and Chester Conquest, all of Fort Washington, MD, Shirley A. Conquest of Lakewood, NJ, Robert A Brown and Lisa Jones, both of Toms River, NJ, Maria (Gary) Moore of Ocean, NJ, Sylvester (Tabitha) Marshall of Boardman, OH, Daryl Murphy of Asbury Park, NJ, Sylvester Conquest III of Parlin, NJ, Michael (Regina) Smith of Norfolk, VA, and Ivan (Nadine) Smith of Newark, NJ; 29 great grandchildren; 28 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild, 1 sister in-law, Dorothy Crippen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
