Myron Lenell Crippen, 58, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on October 1, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Lakewood, NJ. He was born in Neptune, New Jersey on August 8, 1958 to Dorothy and Robert Crippen, Sr.

He resided most of his life in Lakewood, New Jersey.  Myron was a graduate of Lakewood High School and he also attended Towson University in Towson, Maryland.

Myron worked in various jobs until he became ill.  He had a great love for basketball, and played while he was in high school and college.  He also loved playing chess.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Crippen, Sr.; and his sister, Barbara McNeil-West.  He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Muhammad (Nuradeen); two sons,  Tyrick Craig (Nikki) and Jerell Craig; mother, Dorothy Crippen; five brothers, Michael McNeil (Theresa), Rodney James (Pricilla), Robert Crippen, Jr., George Crippen, and Larry Crippen; two sisters, Sharon Crippen-Bristow (Michael), and Arlene McNeil; five grandchildren, Najwa, Jamel, Salah, Haneef and Caden; special friend, Marie Craig; and a host of relatives and friends.
