Mark McClain was born on August 15, 1973. He was the son of the late Odell McClain and Eugene Mason, and brother to predeceased sibling, Maurice Harling. He departed this life on December 23, 2022.

Mark received his education through the Neptune School System. He worked for DHL for many years, in his most recent years he launched his own business, Small Haul.

Mark enjoyed sports, cooking, and enjoyed life. He was active in his community as a proud member of the Mt. Pisgah Lodge #48 FAM PHA, and founder of the 1st Children's Coalition, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to helping the youth.

He is survived by his son, Mark McClain II, Jackson NJ, and four sisters, Barbara Gamble, Lakewood, NJ; Vernell Parker, Toms River, NJ; Loretta Parker, Neptune, NJ; Tomasina Richardson (husband Gene), Long Branch, NJ, and two brothers, Thomas McClain, Asbury Park, NJ; Kenneth McClain, Lakewood, NJ; Uncle, David Clayton (wife Shirley), Tinton Falls, NJ; and special friend, Gina Boone, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many devoted friends.

It is hard to part with the ones we love while here on earth we stay, but then a bright thought comes that we will meet again someday. God knows how much we miss you, never shall your memory fade.
