Loretta Peters Evans, 94, of Asbury Park, NJ passed away on October 8, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ.  She was born in Maryland on February 25, 1920.

Loretta was a member of St Stephens A.M.E. Church, Asbury Park, NJ.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and had many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Evans; two sons, Robert and Ronald Evans of Asbury Park, NJ; and a grandson, Michael Evans.

Loretta is survived by four grandchildren, Keith Evans of Houston, TX, Brian Evans of Houston, TX, Wanda Evans of Long Branch, NJ, and Robert Evans of Neptune, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
