Leslie Johnson, 63, of Bradley Beach, NJ passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Leslie was born on March 6, 1957 to Willie Mae Greene and Roosevelt Thomas in Neptune, NJ.

Leslie was loved by all who knew her. She was a kind, fun loving person, with a big smile.  Anyone who ever met her always left her presence feeling they had made a lifelong friend.  In her free time, she enjoyed music concerts, shopping, playing cards and going to church. She was member of St. Luke Baptist Church, Paterson, NJ under the leadership of Rev. Kenneth Clayton. Her biggest joys were her 3 grandchildren, Elijah, Zion and Azayza. She loved them fiercely and was proud to be called Mimi.

Leslie was predeceased by her father, Roosevelt Thomas, and her aunt, Verna Jones. To cherish her memories are her devoted mother, Willie Mae Greene of Neptune, NJ, daughters, Leah Greene of Scotch Plains, NJ, Kelly Greene of Eatontown, NJ, and Mia Emmert of Chula Vista, CA,  grandchildren, Elijah, Zion, and Azayza, her partner, Sule Osei of Bradley Beach, NJ, aunts, Marlene Burgess of Tinton Falls, NJ, and Ruth E. Bell of Asbury Park, NJ, cousin, Gary Proctor of Asbury Park, NJ, special friends who became family, Josephine Hughes, Lois Wood, Roberta Lowery, and Keia Grant, and a host of relatives and friends.
