Leon Fitzpatrick was born March 3, 1948 in Tuskegee, AL to the late Needham and Annie L. Fitzpatrick. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ following a brief battle with cancer.

Leon attended the Allentown, NJ school system and enjoyed life. He always considered himself an adventurist. He often enjoyed a good laugh and he liked making others laugh.

Leon loved the Lord and was baptized at a young age and had recommitted his life to Christ. He fathered three children, Anthony, Melissa and Linnaya.

He is predeceased by his mother, Annie; father, Needham; sister, Frances; and brother, Needham, Jr.

He is survived with loving memories by his children, Anthony (Danielle) of Toms River, NJ, Melissa of Trenton, NJ, and Linnaya of Bensalem, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Mikel of Jackson, NJ; sister, Patricia of Englishtown, NJ; brothers, Major of Rochester, NY and Arthur and sister-in-law, Valerie, of Lakewood, NJ; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Leon will forever be remembered as a father, son, brother and friend.
