Kellogg Bruce Ashton Jr., 87, of Neptune, New Jersey passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015, in Neptune Rehabilitation and Care Center, Neptune City, New Jersey. He was born on March 23, 1928 in Monmouth County, New Jersey to Kellogg Ashton Sr. and Bertha May White.

"Bruce" was employed as a maintenance supervisor for Marlboro Township Board of Education before retiring in 1993. He was a long time member of a Radio Controlled Model Airplane Club, and served in the Army during WW II. He was a lifelong resident of Neptune, New Jersey. Bruce married Lillian Johnson, also of Neptune, in 1960. They were married for 55 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Ashton; sister, Lenora Coy; nephews, Robert Ashton, and Harold Wyatt; nieces, Brenda Ashton Ingram, Barbara Miles, Wendy Galloway, and Linda Simpson; grandsons, Charles Johnson IV, and Jamie Johnson; and three great grandchildren.
