Kathleen "Kathy" Sloane, 65, of Lakewood, New Jersey was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She passed away on September 24, 2017 at Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey, Lakewood, New Jersey.

She was born in Manalapan, New Jersey on July 11, 1952 to Samuel Sloane and Mary Jones.  Kathleen was the oldest of seven children.  She moved to Lakewood, New Jersey as a young child and attended Lakewood Middle School.  Kathy later obtained her GED from Lakewood High School.

Kathleen was employed as a bus driver for the Brockway Glass Company for five years.  She had surrendered her life to Jesus Christ and was a member of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Lakewood, New Jersey.  Kathy influenced many people and left lasting impressions on the lives that she had touched.

She was predeceased by her father, Samuel Sloane; mother, Mary Jones; brother, Rudolph Sloane; and two grandsons, Isaiah and Josiah.

She is survived by four daughters, Wynise Dorsey and husband, Robert of Lakehurst, New Jersey, Lyon Jackson of Manchester, New Jersey, Laquita Jackson of Howell, New Jersey, and Jazmine Johnson of Ohio; two sons, Ean Wrightson, Jr. of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and James Johnson of Brick, New Jersey; four sisters, Diane Greene of Sayreville, New Jersey, Gwendolyn Peace and Maryanne Miller of Jackson, New Jersey, and Joanne Cawthrone of Louisiana; one brother, Edward Jones of Lakewood, New Jersey; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a longtime friend, Mattie Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
