Mother Juhne Allyson Butler, 93, of Long Branch, New Jersey passed away on October 28, 2015. She was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on August 15, 1922 to Ruth (Blanche) Turner and Wilbur Wheeler.
Juhne was the second of 10 children and had a blessed life to know and love so many people including you. We all knew her for giving a helping hand. She was a Foster Parent for many years.
Juhne attended school in Long Branch, New Jersey and received her High School Equivalent Diploma on December 7, 1979. She attended the Institute of Biblical Technology Evangelical Bible Institute on June 20th, 1981 and completed her studies. On January 27, 1986 Juhne completed her studies from the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services Division of Youth and Family Services. On October 5, 1987 Juhne completed her studies at Capri Institute of Hair Design. She owned and operated Juhne's International Beauty Salon.
Juhne married Charles Butler at 28 Sixth Ave, Long Branch, New Jersey. They resided at 249 Sixth Ave, Long Branch, New Jersey and cared for foster children. Juhne was always giving a helping hand; sewing, cooking pies and rolls, and transporting groups of people to church. She was a long time member of Living Word Christian Fellowship and Mother of the church. Juhne sang in the choir and was in the Singles Ministry.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Butler; father, Wilbur Wheeler; mother, Ruth (Blanche) Turner Wheeler; and siblings, Phillip Kingston, William (Bill) Henry, Wilbert Scott, Harold Agee, Jesse Perry, James (Bay) Lawrence, Julius McKelvey and Bishop Lloyd Avan Wheeler.
Juhne is survived by four loving children, Emily Joyce, Brenda Carolyn, Lloyd Franklin, and Sarita Lynn; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; one brother, Samuel Turner; foster children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
