Obituary

Joan (Faulkner) Campbell, 61, went to sleep in God's hands after a short illness on December 10, 2017.  She was born on July 8, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey to Garland and Miriam (Miles) Faulkner of Ewing, New Jersey.

Joan was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the New Jersey School Board Association.  She was a graduate of Trenton State University, and a member and graduate of The Way International Biblical Research College.

Joan enjoyed motorcycle riding, mountain biking, vacationing at ski resorts, and reading the bible.  She also loved light houses, and one of her favorite past times was watching sunrises and sunsets while drinking hot cocoa.

She was predeceased by her parents, Garland and Miriam Faulkner; and sister, Elaine Faulkner.  She is survived by her loving husband, George William (Bill) Campbell of Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

Joan was a fun loving, caring and compassionate person.  She enjoyed life and was devoted to her husband, Bill, and her family.  She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

High Flight

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds, and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of, wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hovering there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. . . .

Up, up the long, delirious burning blue I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or ever eagle flew And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
