Jesse B. Morrisey, 53, of Asbury Park, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 20, 2016.  His earthly duties were accomplished.  Jesse was born on August 27, 1962 in Gatesville, NC to the late James and Emma Morrisey.

Jesse relocated to Asbury Park, NJ as a young child with his family.  He attended the Asbury Park Public School system.  He was employed at Campbell Supply Company for many years.

Jesse loved bike riding, playing cards, and watching sports, primarily football.  His favorite team was the New York Jets.  He truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially when he was being the jokester that he was.  His love for his family was unique and special for each one separately.  Jesse was also an avid fan of Run-D.M.C.

Jesse was predeceased by his parents, James and Emma Morrisey; sister, Shirley Morrisey; and all but one of his aunts and uncles.

Jesse leaves to cherish many happy memories, one son, Gary Gorski; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Gorski; four grandchildren, Abagail, Irene, Edward and Steven, all of Bradley Beach, NJ; five sisters, Susie Britt and Frances Morrisey of Asbury Park, NJ, Barbara Morrisey and Linda Lyons of Ocean, NJ, and Bernice Morrisey of Virginia; four brothers, James "Q" Morrisey and Marcus Morrisey of Asbury Park, NJ, Kevin Britt of Texas, and Michael Latimore of New York; one uncle, Curtis Britt of Maryland; one god brother and best friend, Jayquan; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
