Jethro Lamar McLean entered this world on June 4, 1960. He is the eldest of six to James A McLean Sr. and Jeanette Williams. Jeff as he was affectionately called by siblings, family and friends was, raised in Neptune NJ known as "Up the hill." Growing up Jeff was quiet and shy except with his siblings. Jeff and his five siblings were very close. Deborah of North Carolina, Cassandra (William)PD, Washington DC, James Jr. (Sheryl) Washington St., Elizabeth and Tanya whom both preceded him in death. Also preceding in death were his grandparents.

Jeff attended Neptune Public School System graduating 1978. Jeff was one of the smartest siblings excelling in mathematics. After high school Jeff enlisted in the military and was honorably discharged. In 1982 Jeff met Jeannie Williams also preceded in death and from that union babygirl Amira was welcomed.

Jeff worked in the logistics industry was efficient and dedicated worker. Jeff was loved by many including close friends Donald Dixion, Fred Franklin, PD, and Michael Donaldson. Also very special friend Jeannie. Jeff leaves to mourn his memories father James A McLean Sr., 3 siblings, daughter Amira Williams, grandsons Davonne and Sci Williams as well as a host of relatives and friends.
