James H. Hunt, Jr., age 55, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2018 at King Manor Care & Rehabilitation Center in Neptune, New Jersey.  He was born in Jersey Shore University Medical Center (formerly Fitkin Hospital), Neptune, on July 16, 1962 to James and Ophelia Hunt.

He was a 1979 graduate of Ranney School, Tinton Falls, New Jersey and went on to attend Montclair State University. He was a longtime employee of the James H. Hunt Funeral Home.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Ophelia Hunt; and stepmother, Mildred Hunt.  James is survived by his sisters, Karla Hunt Ellison and Patricia Hunt; three step sisters, Xenia Ware, Beverly McCray, and Kay Brown; brother-in-law, Willi Ellison; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
