In Loving Memory of Gary Pressley August 6, 1960 – June 25, 2026
It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Gary Pressley, who departed this life on June 25, 2026, at the age of 65.
Born on August 6, 1960, Gary spent his life with a deep love for his family, his faith, and the simple joys that brought him peace. A longtime resident of Asbury Park, New Jersey, he especially enjoyed walking along the beach, where he found comfort and tranquility. In his younger years, Gary loved jogging through New York, embracing both the energy of the city and the beauty of the outdoors.
Gary was a God-fearing man whose faith was the foundation of his life. He found great joy in sharing God's Word, often spending time on the phone encouraging his siblings through Scripture and conversations about faith. His devotion to the Lord and his desire to uplift those around him left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, the songs he loved to sing, and his lifelong love of music. Gary had a gift for bringing smiles to others through his jokes, laughter, and warm spirit. Above all, he cherished his family, whose love meant everything to him.
Gary is lovingly survived by his siblings, Shelly, James, Maureen, and Lynette, as well as his many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James Pressley and Macy Pressley, and by his dear sister, Carol Pressley. While he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in the love he shared, the faith he lived by, and the cherished memories he leaves behind.
"Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me." — Psalm 40:11
