Garrison L Fisher, born on April 11, 1939 in Havelock, NC. to the late Lester and Eva Adams Fisher, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 after a brief illness.

Garrison was employed as a human services technician by Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, Marlboro, NJ, retiring in 1998. He was an Army veteran, who loved fishing and bowling.

Garrison is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years; Frances V. Fisher, four children: Terry D. Fisher of Brick, NJ, Maurice Fisher, Neptune, NJ, Taunya R. Fisher, Ocean Township, NJ and Nicole D. Fisher, at home; one sister, Ella Fisher of Red Bank, NJ and two sisters-in-law, Eula M. Fisher and Marion Fisher along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His unassuming, quiet humor along with his special bbq sauce and ribs will be missed by all who knew him.
