Eddie Brown, Jr., 66, passed away in Durham, North Carolina on May 19, 2017.  He was born on April 6, 1951 to Mildred and the late Eddie Brown Sr.

Eddie attended school in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania and Berkeley Township schools.  He graduated from Central Regional High School, Bayville, New Jersey.

Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 8 years of active duty. He received several certifications from Military Airlift Command, Tactical Airlift Command and Strategic Airlift Command.

Eddie Jr. attended Broadcasting School in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania and completed Computer Studies at Brick Computer Technical Institute. He was a music connoisseur and loved many kinds of music. He had an extensive collection of records and CDs.

He was predeceased by his father, Eddie Brown Sr. He was survived by his wife, Patricia Brown; five children, LaToya Brown of Holly Springs, NC, Kristen Myres of Barnegat, NJ, Desmond Brown and Eddie Brown III of Holly Springs, NC, and Kandace Thompson (Joseph) of Raleigh, NC; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; mother, Mildred Brown of South Toms River, NJ; brother, Martin Brown, Sr. (Lisa) of South Toms River, NJ; sister, Norma Brown South Toms River, NJ; three godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
