Dorothy V. Womack, 80, of Lakewood, NJ passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ.  She was born on September 16, 1935 in Washington, DC to Samuel and Virginia Womack.

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Lakewood, NJ.  Dorothy was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Freehold Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for many years, retiring in 2001.  She attended Macedonia Baptist Church in Lakewood, NJ and New Life Christian Center in Lakewood, NJ.

She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Virginia Womack; and one brother, Samuel Womack.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Womack of Lakewood, NJ; three grandchildren, Kawana Washington, Billy Glover, and James Powell; two great grandchildren, Lashanda Washington, and Dion Washington; and a host of relatives and friends.
