In His infinite wisdom, God, our Heavenly Father, who doeth all things well, called Denise Anne Cranshaw on September 19, 2015 into eternal peace, from Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.  She was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on February 17, 1962 to Cynthia Cranshaw Guthridge and Marion Moultrie Sr.

Denise formerly resided in Keyport, NJ where she attended the Keyport School system. She played the flute in the middle and high school concert and marching band.  She had a love of family and cared for her grandchildren and many other children in the community. Denise enjoyed collecting anything that had to do with horses, and singing songs by her favorite artist, Erykah Badu. She worked in various factories and loved to cook. She always had a meal for everyone.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Moultrie; brothers, Darryl (Peewee) Hill, Ezane Moultrie, and Kenny Moultrie; and sister, Donna Hill.  She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Cynthia Cranshaw Guthridge; her beloved children, Paul L. Cranshaw, Jamielah Cranshaw, Charles Cranshaw, Rayna Herbert, Deshana Cranshaw, William and wife, Leana Herbert, and Troy Herbert; dear brothers, David L. Guthridge, James Guthridge, Marion (Calhoon) Moultrie Jr., Danny and wife, Lisa Hill, and Rahmel Moultrie; dear sisters, Glenda and husband, James Moore, Gidget Washington, Simone Moultrie, Shauntay Wilkins, and Marian Moultrie. She is remembered with love by the father of four of her children, Charles Herbert; devoted friend, Gene; twelve grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
