David Nathaniel Young was born on November 27,1934 in Fort Pierce, Fl. He was born to the late Anderson Young and Julia Williams Young.

He attended school in Fort Pierce and was a member of the class of 1956 at Lincoln Park Academy. During high school David enlisted in the United States Army where he served in the Korean War.

After serving in the military he moved to Glen Cove, New York working for many years at Mazza Construction. David later moved to Asbury Park, New Jersey and worked at Brockway Glass until his retirement. As a child David attended The House of God Pillar Ground of Truth #1 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

In January 2000 he moved to Seaview Towers, In Asbury Park, New Jersey.  David met and married his wife, Gale Bowen Young. They resided at the Seaview Towers. There he loved entertaining his close friends, spending time with his wife, cooking and watching Cowboy Football.

On the evening of December 21, 2018 David departed from our presence here on earth. Preceding him in death were his parents, Anderson Young and Julia Williams Young; and his only sibling, his sister, Annie Flourine Dennis.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Gale Bowen Young; stepson, Ralph Bowen Jr of Neptune, New Jersey; stepdaughter, Patricia Michelle Bowen of Long Island, New York; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, one godson, and other relatives and special friends who really took good care of him.
