Beverly Ann Robinson was born at Fitkin Hospital on September 27, 1960 to parents John Robinson and Bertha Robinson. She took her heavenly journey on December 6, 2024 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell, New Jersey surrounded by her entire loving family.
Bev received her formal education in the Manalapan School system and from life experiences. She worked most of her life in the medical field caring for the elderly. She was a born "comedian". She kept her patients laughing and singing all the time. Bev loved to dance and had an audition with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, New York City in her teens.
Bev attended Sunday School in her Grandma's (Lila Stevenson) basement and in the "yellow house". She then attended Community Refuge Church, Englishtown, NJ pastored by Apostle Fred Rubin. Bev was baptized at Community Refuge Church in 2024. For the past 10 years she attended By Faith Ministries, Lakewood, NJ pastored by Bishop Jerome Robinson. She loved to sing in church and her favorite song is "This Means War". She tore this song up!
Bev was predeceased by her father, John (Wes) Robinson, her nieces, Kisha Robinson and Imani Tutson and her beloved companion, William James and her dog, "Baby".
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving, devoted daughter, Tamica Robinson, Granddaughter's, Alexis Robinson and Ayanna Robinson of Ewing, NJ. She often said "I'm fighting so hard for my girls"; her dedicated Mother, Bertha Robinson, Moorestown, NJ; loving sisters, Brenda Robinson, Hightstown, NJ, Joanne Stevenson, Moorestown, NJ, Haneefah Mu'mina, New Brunswick, NJ, brothers, John Robinson, II, Pleasantville, NJ and Bishop Jerome Robinson and his wife, Minister Debbie Robinson, East Windsor, NJ; Aunts Lera Robinson, New Brunswick, NJ; Maxine Drakeford, MD; Debra Stevenson, The Villages, FL; Lillian Banks, Jacksonville, FL, Theresa (Rita) Rubin, Englishtown, NJ along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A very special friend, Cheryl Hopson, Lakewood, NJ.
