Bernice Baynard, 74, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus. She was born on January 14, 1944 in Frankfurt, DE to Edward Price and Mary Baynard (nee Fassett).

She was employed at Inco in Neptune, NJ for 15 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of Sixth Street Baptist Church of Lakewood, NJ and Elizabeth Bunn Temple of Neptune, NJ. She was lifelong resident of Lakewood, NJ. Bernice married Winston Brown from Pensacola, Fl.

She was predeceased by her husband, Winston Brown; daughters, Carmen Phillips and Dorothy Jenkins (Donnish); sisters, Arella Young, Christine Baynard, Mildred Randolph, Rosetta Simmons, Betty Duffy, and Margie Baynard; brothers, Oscar, Earl, Weldon, Raymond, and David Baynard; and granddaughter, Shanique Phillips.

She is survived by her daughters, Antoinette Baynard (Kenneth), Tonya Moore, and Vernice Moore; brother, Charles Baynard, significant other, William Holland; 11grandchildren; especially her heart, Daniel McNee (Tonya); 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, friends, and especially her childhood friend, Jerri Scott.
