Arthur Chiles, 81, of Asbury Park, NJ passed away in his home after an extended illness on Thursday, January 24, 2019.  He was born on December 13, 1937 in Greenwood County, SC to the late Robert and Mamie Lee (Goode) Chiles.

He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Neptune, NJ where he served as a Trustee and sang in the Men's Choir.  He retired from Hance Morton Company as a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Chiles of Asbury Park, NJ; one son, Patrick Chiles of Toms River, NJ; two daughters, Joyce Chiles Brandon (James), and Tracey Chiles of Asbury Park, NJ; nephew reared in home, Lonnie O'Bryant of WI; one brother, Joseph Chiles (Aggiemae) of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Annie Harrison (Floyd) of Greenwood, SC, and Sarah Davis of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law, Carolyn Tarver of Atlanta, GA; special family members, Roy L. Baxter and Terence J. Beaty (family Aide); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
