Anthony Gainey of Toms River, New Jersey departed this life suddenly on June 8, 2018.  He was born June 16, 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida to Castoria Gainey and Henry L. Gainey Sr.

Anthony was educated in the Lakewood, New Jersey School System and graduated from Lakewood High School. After graduation he went on to work as a Glass Glazier.  He was a fun and outgoing person. He loved spending time with his family and walking his "Boys" (dogs). Anthony loved music and working around the house. He was the life of the party, made people laugh, and he was always the person to go to for advice.

He was predeceased by his brother Alphonso L. Gainey and his nephew Alphonso Smith.  He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Castoria Gainey and father Henry L Gainey Sr. One sister Wanetta Gainey (Lakewood); three brothers Henry L. Gainey Jr. (Francine) Lakewood, Arnold L. Gainey (Cookie) Jersey City, and Michael T. Gainey (Nicole) Brick Township. His longtime companion of 26 years Terry Mancz. He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews Tasharnda Gainey, Danika Dean, Rahmel Gainey, Henry L. Gainey III, Michaela Gainey, Maliki Gainey and Jakeela Hunter. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends.
