Albert Fields Jr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ after a courageous battle with stage 4 cancer. He was 70 years old.
Born on October 4, 1953, in Neptune, NJ, Albert was the son of Albert Sr. and Priscilla Fields. He grew up surrounded by family, forging bonds that would hold strong throughout his life. Though predeceased by his parents, brother, Micheal, and sisters, Brenda and Gail, Albert's memory will be cherished by his surviving sister, Harriet, children, Kelly and Albert (JJ), son-in-law, Joshua, niece, Kelly, nephews, Kevin and Micheal, uncle, Kenneth (KK), mother of his children, Tracey, a large extended family filled with grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews, and countless other loved ones.
Albert led a vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He was an authentic soul who wore his heart on his sleeve and never dimmed his light to fit another mold. He wasn't afraid to be unapologetically himself. He was a man of deep affection, readily sharing his generous spirit and infectious smile with all who encountered him. Whether spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Arianna, Kai, Isiah, and Lianna, or gathering with his extended family Nadiyah and Taj, Albert embraced every moment with an open heart and genuine joy.
His passion for life extended beyond family, as he held a special place in the hearts of many within the Asbury Park community. His absence will be keenly felt by all who knew him, for Albert was a true pillar of warmth and strength, always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word.
As we mourn the loss of Albert Fields Jr., we celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones, forever guiding them with his legacy of unwavering love and unwavering joy.
May his memory be a blessing. Rest in peace, Albert. We love you.
