Myra Craft, 55, of Neptune, New Jersey departed this life peacefully surrounded by her family, on September 17, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1964 to the late Horace and Mattie (Craft) Davis.
Myra was employed as a Teacher's Assistant in the Asbury Park School system for several years. She was joined in holy matrimony to William Thompson in 2011, and she was a member of Christian Cathedral Ministries.
She was predeceased by her father, Horace Craft; one sister, Kendall Craft; one son, Tyrone Craft; and her grandmother, Mattie Fischer.
She leaves to mourn her memory her husband, William Thompson of Neptune, NJ; two daughters, Nakia Craft and Dara Craft both of Neptune , NJ; two sons, Equan and wife, Yolanda Craft, of Toms River, NJ, and Antoine Craft and fiancé, Zammoria Carpenter, of Neptune NJ; four grandsons, four granddaughters; mother, Mattie(Craft) Davis of Asbury Park, NJ; two sisters, Arliss Craft of Asbury Park, NJ, and Laurie Haymon of North Carolina; two brothers, Horace Craft and Tyrone Craft both of Asbury Park, NJ; and beloved family friend, David (Munch) James; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
