Milton B. Turner was born on November 12, 1945 to Bennie and Mary Turner who both have preceded him in death. He was born in King George County, VA and later moved to Asbury Park, NJ.
He graduated from Neptune High School, Neptune, NJ in June of 1964; then enrolled in Monmouth College in Long Branch, NJ and received his Associates Degree in June 1967. He continued his under graduate education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1968. Milton then attended New York University and received an MBA in June 1974. Milton helped his younger siblings while attending school. He started his career in accounting.
He was a very unselfish person toward other people. He had helped numerous people, old and young. He would take them to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, or just stopping by to check on their well-being. This was his gift.
Milton was an avid photographer. He loved to take pictures of others, and of anyone who would request his photographic services on special occasions.
He also enjoyed eating out with family and friends. Milton moved to Monroe Towers in the mid 1970s, and resided there for approximately 40 years. He had recently relocated to Asbury Park Towers. Milton will always be remembered as a force to be reckoned with. He is loved and missed by many.
He is survived by one brother, Paul Turner; two sisters, Beverly A. Reed and Josephine Turner; one nephew, seven nieces, great nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
