Sadly, I just learned of Marion's passing today. I have reached out to our friends from Trenton State College. My heart is heavy today. I wish that our communication, over the years, had been better. I know that he is in a better place and I hope that all of his loved ones feel comfort in this, that I... believe to be true.

To Marion’s Family: Marion and I became fast friends at Wayside Elementary mostly because he was the friendliest guy there. OT Intermediate and High School followed and we stayed friends throughout. If anyone came up to me and said, “Do you know Marion Stephens?” I’d reply, “Of course! He’s one of my best friends!” even though it’s been nearly 30 years since we last spoke. We shared common interests and a love of life. I miss him today like I last saw him yesterday. You all are in my thoughts for the loss your must feel.

To the family of Marion Stephens with my sincere condolences. May you draw comfort from the promise of the resurrection by Christ. At John 5:28,29 Christ Jesus said “Do not be amazed at this, for all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out.” When Christ was on earth he demonstrated his ability to resurrect those that fell asleep in death. He will do so again on a global scale during his reign of God’s Kingdom that we pray for. John 11:11,43; Matthew 6:9,10.

Dear Blossie (and entire family) I am so very sorry for the loss and sadness that you must be feeling. I'm sorry he had to leave so young, but I know that he is in a wonderful place with God, and this promotion on the journey of souls is something to be cherished, not feared. He always lit up the day with his smile and his quick wit had me laughing all the time!! Marion, you've always been remembered, even after all of these years. When I think of you, I smile. You made a difference in my life and I am forever grateful to have been able to call you FRIEND.

To Marion, Lady Blossie Stephens and Family,

We greet you all in Jesus' name,
Just wanted to share our love with you as you journey through this most difficult season. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 reminds us that for every purpose under heaven, there is a season. The Lord has also promised that He is with you as you "walk through" the valley of the "shadow" of death. Know that the Holy Spirit is available with just a whisper to bring peace and comfort to you now and always!!! You and your family are connected to us always, and we "shout together", "earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal". Jesus, said, "My Peace I Give to You", and we are eternally grateful that He always keeps His promises.

Love, Always,
Mike & Jen

As you try to comprehend this profound loss know that it is okay to grieve the loss of your dear loved one. For the true God in the heavens feel your pain - Isaiah 41:10. He knows your suffering and will help you cope with your grief. Job 10:1 says " I will speak out in my bitter distress". Have faith in God's promise written at Acts 24:15 which expresses the hope of seeing your dead loved ones again. It is comforting for us to know that God does not cause suffering and that one day it will end.
