Loyda Cintron, 75, of Howell, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, New Jersey. She was born on April 14, 1943 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Manuel and Virginia Cintron.
She was a loyal employee of Marcus and Wiesen Inc., of the garment industry, for 15 years in Manhattan, New York. She was a devoted member of St. Veronica's Church. She was a longtime resident of Bronx, New York before moving to Howell, New Jersey in 2008. She was predeceased by her brother, Miguel Cintron; her mother, Virginia Cintron and father, Manuel Cintron.
She is survived by her three daughters, Jeanette Morris of Howell, New Jersey; Minerva Toro of Bronx, New York, and Nancy Rios of Puerto Rico; five granddaughters, one grandson, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Loyda was a unique woman that was full of life and love with every moment she embraced. She was loved by many and known for her spunky personality that always left people with a smile. Her legacy will forever leave an impression on those who knew and grew to love her and will be remembered for the light of life that she was.
