Kathy Yvette Agostini, 56, daughter of the late Nelson and Goldie Rodriquez-Agostini, was born on May 27, 1962 in Orangeburg, New York. She departed this life in her home in Asbury Park, NJ on February 14, 2019.
She received her education from the Asbury Park School District. She was employed many years for the Sam Wah Laundromat, formerly of Asbury Park, NJ until they closed.
Kathy served as a lifelong member of Christ Temple C. L. G., Neptune, NJ. There she served as a choir member under the leadership of Bishop Cleveland L. Harvey, and more presently under Pastor Jerome Hubbard,
Kathy was beautiful woman whose strength and resilience was incomparable. She was known for her infectious laughter, wonderful sense of fashion, beautiful smile and brilliant blue eyes. She was always a generous soul willing to open her doors and heart for anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to be in her presence.
She was predeceased by her natural mother, Rose Johnson; adopted parents, Goldie and Nelson Agostini; and her two sons, Rahju, T. Love and Ryekill R. Agostini.
She is survived by two loving children, her eldest son, Terrale T. Agostini, and her youngest son, Rakim L. Love both of Asbury Park, NJ; grandchildren, Ahdaizjah Bellamy, Marcellus Booze, Jaking Agostini, Jahya Agostini, Jamir Styles and Terquaey Agostini all of New Jersey; two great grandchildren, AZiya Bellamy and Ah’zhir Seeah Johnson; sister, Vivian Brown; brother, Robert Johnson; stepsister, Florence Johnson; niece, Shamonique Brown; nephew, Tywand Johnson; cousin/best friend, Vickie Johnson; her loving and faithful companion, Elzia Tutt; her mother through marriage, Emma Agostini; stepsiblings, Edward Benson, Anita I. Benson, Robert Brown Jr., and Robin McGaskey; and a host of other loving family and friends.
