Karen Lavern Peace, 42, of Howell, NJ passed away on October 23, 2018. She was born on August 12, 1976 in Toms River, NJ to David L. Peace and the late Roslyn Scott.
Karen moved from Lakewood, NJ to Rochester, NY where she graduated from high school. In 2000 she moved to Newark, NJ.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ. Karen was employed at Bloomfield College for several years before she left due to illness. She then moved to Howell, NJ where she lived the rest of her life.
Karen gave her life to the Lord at a young age and was a member at Bethany Baptist Church in Farmingdale, NJ. Although the Lord did not allow her to mother her own child, she loved and adored all her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Roslyn Scott; and brother, David L. Davis. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory, her father, David L. Peace (Belinda) of Neptune, NJ; grandmother, Ann Conover of Howell, NJ; three sisters, Cheryl Hopson of Neptune, NJ, Mechile Gammage (Michael) of Georgia, and Nadirah Keith of Edison; three brothers, Kevin Peace of Rochester, NY, Robert and Rashaan Keith of Newark; eighteen nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
