Jerline Shepard, 78, of Asbury Park, New Jersey was called home on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey. She was born on June 30, 1941 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia to Jim and Annie Mae Crenshaw.
Her name was Jerline Shepard, however, many people called her Jerri. She was employed at Monmouth Medical Center for 37 years. After her retirement, Jerline spent a lot of time with her close friends, former coworkers, and her family.
She was a beautiful angel that has left us with a remembrance of her beautiful and loving ways. Jerline was the person whom anyone could go to with anything. And I mean anything!
She raised many children with a strong and loving heart. If you called her, she would answer, if you knocked at her door, she would let you in, if you needed a hug, you got one. Jerline had a beautiful soul, and she was always available if you needed guidance.
She had a wonderful sense of humor. Jerline would always say things that that would brighten up anyone's day. That's the love that this woman had for everyone.
We will love you forever. Miss Shepard rest in peace, you were a beautiful angel, you will be so missed by so many. May you rest in peace sweet angel.
Jerline was predeceased by her husband, Edward Shepard; her parents; four brothers, Thomas, Charles, Davie and Cleveland Crenshaw; one sister, Ethel Williams; and one sister-in-law, Ruby Crenshaw.
She is survived by her five children; Edward, Barry, Lisa, Andrea and Tara; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Watson and Betsy Wilmore; two brothers, Harold and John Crenshaw; two sisters-in-law, Sally M. and Sandy Crenshaw, a host of nieces and nephews.
