Gloria Mae Burnett

Gloria Mae Burnett, 76, of Neptune, NJ, departed this life at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. She was born on July 22, 1942 in Covel, West Virginia to John and Naomi Casey.

She graduated from Asbury Park High School, Asbury Park, NJ. Gloria retired after 30 years of service as a Human Service Technician from Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital. After retirement, Gloria worked part-time at Costco where she was known for her charismatic advertising of special products. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Temple, Asbury Park, NJ.

She is predeceased by her husband, William Burnett Jr; and parents, John and Naomi Casey.  She is survived by her son, Troy (Vernona) of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Sharon; three grandchildren, Rashad, Kadeem, and Ashley; three great grandchildren; siblings, Beverly Gee of Neptune, NJ, Shirley Hodge of Virginia Beach, VA, and Ronald Casey (Geraldine) of Bowie, MD.
