Diane C. Reeves

Diane C. Reeves, 65, of Brick, New Jersey transitioned from Earth to Glory on October 29, 2019 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, New Jersey.  She was the daughter of the late Jerry and Lessie Hall Reeves. Diane was born on March 4, 1954 in Lakewood, New Jersey and was a lifelong resident of Ocean County.

She attended the Lakewood, New Jersey public school system.  She was employed at Manchester Manor in Manchester, New Jersey. She was a member of the Lakewood Church of God In Christ, Lakewood, New Jersey.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Robert Earl Reeves of Brick, New Jersey; two daughters, Nakisha Jones-Trotman (Jimmy) of Bayville, New Jersey, and Leslie Reeves of Brick, New Jersey; four brothers, Jerry of Dallas, Texas, Ricky, Joseph, and James Reeves, all of Lakewood, New Jersey; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her pet bird (Joey); best friends, Terry Young, Bobbie Henderson, and Tabby Singleton; and a host of family and friends.

She's always been there for me.
Just talking to her can make me happy.
She tells me of the hard times she's been through
In hopes that I won't go through them too.
She's an independent woman of stature and grace.
She has beautiful eyes and a lovely face.
An audacious strength from deep inside.
In her I know I can confide. She's my guardian angel
who'll always be a very special part of me.
She takes pride in caring for her kin.
She gives us hope and things to believe in.
If I didn't have her there for me.
I wouldn’t be half the woman I turned out to be.
