Sincerely, my deepest condolences during this time of sadness and grief. May the powerful and encouraging words written in the Bible sooth the pain of your heart having loss your dear one. Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart." You have the assurance from God that you will see your loved one again. "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”- Acts 24:15 What a wonderful time that will be!

I am sorry for the loss of your dear Alyce. We struggle with the question of why something like this happens, why people even have to die at all. God hates when things like this happen. He has a purpose that includes "death being no more" -Rev. 21:3, 4, as well as promising to “undo” death with the resurrection of our loved ones – John 5:28, 29. Currently the world is "lying in the power of the wicked one", but not for much longer. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit www.jw.org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN
