I want to extend my sincere condolences to the family. May God grant you peace and strength during this time. Keep your loved one alive always in your hearts and remember all the beautiful memories given to you. In the very near future, the following scripture will be a reality. Revelations 21:4 says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." May God's words bring comfort to you and the family at this time of sorrow.

To the Family of Virginia Hunter:

Life is but a vapor that appeareth for a little time and then vanisheth away…but each life is under Divine direction, and human will should be subjected to the Divine will at all times.

It is never easy to say earthly goodbyes to those we love, but there are moments when we must. In so doing, we celebrate their value and virtues.

Ernestine and I wish to express to you our greatest sympathy as you cope with the passing of Mrs. Virginia Hunter. We extend our love and support to you and your family as we pray, that "..the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."

Sincerely,

C. Garnett Henning

I had the most fortunate opportunity to have taught with Virginia at The Oak Street Elementary School in Lakewood. She was my Basic Skills teacher responsible for strengthening student skills in all academic areas of instruction. I will forever miss her passion for teaching as well as her keen sense of humor. Virginia was most proud of her. husband and two sons. My sincere thoughts are with her family at this most difficult time. Joseph Michael Koenig

God bless Mrs. Hunter, my fondest memory of her was her saving me from a racist teacher at LMS who picked on me and she stepped in put her in her place and for the rest of the year I reported to her class. I learned two things that day I was black but didn't have to be disrespected. RIH and thanks

My heart is saddened by the lost of my dear friend. She was my mentor and friend, and every couple of months, I could look forward to a conversation with her. She was influential in ensuring I obtained a teaching job in Trenton, and she helped me learn the role of being a Pastor's Wife. I shall miss her wisdom, and send my deepest condolences to her family. Rest on friend, I will miss you!
